PikMyKid Dismissal App Rollout & Ongoing Support

I was tasked with the rollout of the new PikMyKid dismissal app to solve the school's dismissal safety concerns beginning in October of 2015. As our students attended two campuses and had 17 different ways they could be dismissed on any particular day, this app was chosen to ensure that every student was accounted for each and every day. **Technical documentation **Lead Data Analyst **Database design

Complete buy-in from staff and parents was essential for success. I worked directly with all of our stakeholders in a very hands-on fashion to ensure that this would happen and that it would go smoothly. I was incredibly successful, and the app continues to be used to this day.

• I held several dozen trainings for staff, parents, and students to ensure that all were comfortable with the new system.
• I purchased, set up, and ensured the ongoing success of the iPads being used for the system, with zero loss over the course of 3 years.
• Daily dismissal time dropped from over 40 minutes to under 15 minutes each day after the first couple of weeks.
