Little Sky Writers App

The Little Sky Writers app was popular app designed to help kids learn to properly write their letters. Users would fly a little plane around a runway shaped like each letter and puffs of smoke would trail behind, effectively mimicking a sky-writing plane. Comic Stephen Kramer Glickman voiced the funny narration that went along with each letter. The research, design, layout, and all ideas were done by our team, and the coding was done by DB Best.

As one of two project managers, I worked with teachers, designers, and our internal team to ensure we were meeting deadlines while still producing a quality app.

• The app was featured in the iPad Air Launch video in October 2013 at minute 1:13 (see video above).
• The app was featured multiple times in the iTunes App Store, including New & Noteworthy and App of the Day.
